Meet Dr. Tran | Abilene Surgical Associates

Khoa Tran, DDS

Dr. Khoa Tran received his undergraduate education at University of California, Los Angeles in Physiological Sciences, then went on to pursue his dental training at the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry where he was among the top of his class.

After dental school, Dr. Tran completed a year of intensive surgical training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. He then completed his surgical residency at Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA. Here, he received extensive training in medicine, oral and maxillofacial surgery, trauma, and safe and effective anesthesia.

Dr. Tran also completed his general surgery internship and served as chief resident of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery during his final year at Allegheny General Hospital.

Dr. Tran’s passion is providing care for patient in a safe and welcoming environment and serving the people of Aibilene and surrounding areas. His primary areas of interest are dentoalveolar surgery, trauma, pathology, and constant improvement to surgical skills through the use of technology. During his time off, he enjoys fishing, rock climbing, hiking, being a foodie, and traveling with his wife.
